Committed to increasing the knowledge and application of psychoanalytic theory
The mission of BSPS is to serve the Baltimore community of mental health professionals and professionals-in-training who are committed to increasing their knowledge and application of psychoanalytic theory. We strive to enrich clinical practice and to foster such knowledge by sponsoring seminars withexperts in psychodynamic psychotherapy, psychoanalysis and related fields. BSPS values and promotes dialog among members of this professional community.
The Baltimore Society for Psychoanalytic Studies sponsors five conferences a year to foster the development of the psychoanalytic community in the Baltimore area. Participants can earn 3 CE credits at each conference, while learning about diverse topics and current case studies in the field. We welcome new members and old to listen, explore, and broaden academic horizons. Contact us to join, or to register for future conferences!
